She has over two decades of experience and has worked with top riders in the hunter/jumper field, Grand Prix dressage riders, and Olympic event riders.
Alexis enjoys teaching others and helping them obtain their goals. She trains pleasure riders to competitive. She believes in creating a solid foundation on the flat, then developing a correct style over fences. In addition to teaching correct and safe riding, she also emphasizes the fact it’s supposed to be fun. If you are looking to be competitive, feel more confident in the saddle, or just be a better horse-person, Alexis can help you.
Her passion, of course, is working with the horses. She has experience in starting young horses, and re-starting race horses. She trains and starts horses by developing confidence through a systematic series of progressions such as ground work, lungeing, and time spent under saddle. She forms a strong foundation in the horse through flat-work, then creates confidence by introducing fences in an approachable and inviting way. Don’t hesitate to call Alexis today with any questions. She teaches ages 3 and up and beginners are always welcome.
